The Downtown Center is a campus of City College of San Francisco (CCSF), located at 88 Fourth Street in the SoMa neighborhood of San Francisco, near Union Square and Yerba Buena Gardens. Established in 1979, the center offers both free noncredit ESL classes and credit courses designed for transfer to four-year universities or career preparation. The center is easily accessible by BART, Muni, and multiple bus lines.
