Grossmont College is a public community college located in El Cajon, California, in San Diego's East County. Part of the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, Grossmont College offers more than 150 transfer and career technical programs, as well as an American Collegiate English (ACE) program for international students. The college welcomes F-1 visa students from around the world through its International Student Center and is one of the largest international student programs in San Diego County.
USH offers homestay accommodation for international students attending Grossmont College. Everything is included in one flat monthly rate — your furnished room, Wi-Fi, utilities, and an English-speaking American host family. No lease to sign. No credit history needed. No furniture to buy. Just arrive and settle in.
Your host family is your first connection to American life. You practice English every day at home — not just in the classroom. You learn how Americans cook, celebrate, and live. Many international students say their host family became some of their closest friends in the US.
