UCLA Extension is the continuing education division of the University of California, Los Angeles, located in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. UCLA Extension offers professional certificate programs, English language courses, university credit programs, and a Pathway Program for international students preparing for admission to UCLA and other US universities. The International Student Services Office (ISS) issues I-20 documents and supports F-1 students enrolled in certificate programs and other qualifying programs. UCLA Extension does not provide on-campus housing — international students live off campus in privately owned residence halls, homestays, or furnished apartments year-round.
