Top 10 U.S. States Hosting International Students – Open Doors Report 2013
According to the 2013 Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange, the number of international students studying in the United States increased by seven percent to a record high of 819,644 students in the 2012/13 academic year.
Here are the top 10 U.S States hosting international students. California hosted more than 100,000 international students for the second year in a row, followed by New York, Texas, Massachusetts and Illinois. More detailed information can be found in Fast Facts Open Doors 2013.
