  • Shared Bedrooms are for 2 guests traveling together NOT SHARED WITH THE HOST.
  • Application Fee $300.00 (non refundable).
  • Deposit $100.00 (non refundable in case of cancellation).
  • This deposit will convert into a refundable security deposit upon arrival.
  • Minimum 28 days (4 weeks) required.
  • All housing fees must be paid in full upon arrival as per your housing agreement.

Manhattan English Center (MEC) is a licensed ESL school located in Midtown Manhattan, steps from Penn Station in New York City. MEC is certified by SEVP to enroll F-1 international students and offers English language programs for students from around the world, including general English, conversation, and exam preparation courses.

MEC students arrive throughout the year for programs of varying lengths. We offer flexible stays starting from four weeks, with easy extensions as your plans develop.
